Delicate and light, with a floral aroma. Fruity tones of cherry blossom, apple cider and orange citrus.

Smallholder farmers that live in and around the washing station will hand pick and deliver their coffee as cherry that day.

The coffee is floated and washed, and beans removed from the cherry through a de-pulper.

A fermentation occurs for 12-36 hours, before the parchment coffee is then spread out under the sun on raised beds.

A splendid coffee

Alfred Blair-smart

While I am not a coffee buff my wife and I do like this coffee and have made any excuse to have a coffee in the afternoon as well as our usual one in the morning, something we have not done with any other bean. I also prefer it to the dry processed Ethiopian bean as it has a greater depth of flavour.

Excellent coffee

Alfred Blair-smart

While my wife and I are not connoisseurs this is a bean which pleases us both very much. We find it to be very smooth and pleasing with a pleasant after taste.

Truly Beautiful

Matthew

I m a big coffee lover and this is an absolute exquisite roast. I brew with a filter and this made such a lovely cup. Delicious, and you can really taste the berries. I m also a big fan of the Ballater blend, but will be ordering more single bean roasts in future.
