 Roaring Stag pride themselves on using only traditional coffee roasting methods to perfect the slow process of enhancing the deep flavour of the Lochnagar coffee beans for you to enjoy time after time.What makes Roaring Stag Coffee so unique is the combination of pure fresh highland air and high altitude, these two factors ensure a fresh clean coffee roasting process, which enhances the aromatic coffee aroma and the rich dark chocolate flavours of this roast. Lochnagar roast coffee beans are named after the nearby Lochnagar Mountain in the Cairngorms close to Balmoral Castle.

Away, ye gay landscapes, ye gardens of roses!
In you let the minions of luxury rove;
Restore me the rocks where the snow-flake reposes,
Though still they are sacred to freedom and love;
Yet, Caledonia, beloved are thy mountains,
Round their white summits though elements war;
Though cataracts foam 'stead of smooth-flowing fountains,
I sigh for the valley of dark Lochnagar.

Lord Byron
